Este trabajo, presenta tres estudios de caso sobre procesos urbanos y políticas publicas en dos ciudades uruguayas. Explora la noción de "vacíos políticos" como clave para repensar las relaciones entre modernización y ciudad. Argumentando que esos vacíos representan también, tres desafíos urbanos y arquitectónicos para las próximas decadas en Uruguay.
The present lecture introduces three study cases of urban process and public policies in two Uruguayan cities. It explores the notion of “political voids” as a clue to rethink the relationships between Modernization and discontent. And it argues that those voids also represent three architectural and urban challenges for the next decades in Uruguay.
